Sheesh, remember when live sport was still a thing?
Of course, even the most hardcore of sports fans (myself included) have had to reevaluate what is really important in times like these.
That, and rewatching any and all highlights and specials that SuperSport throws our way.
It seems more likely by the day that Wimbledon, due to start on June 29, will be cancelled, but that doesn’t mean the world’s leading tennis players can afford to put their feet up.
Training must go on, especially for those who just happen to have a few extra years on the competition.
Roger Federer probably has another year or so before he hangs up his boots, and he’s not about to let his skills become rusty.
How about these trick shots, filmed at his home in Switzerland?

Yeah, he’s still got it.
The Prince has also been putting his money where his mouth is, with this from a recent Instagram post:
These are challenging times for everyone and nobody should be left behind. Mirka and I have personally decided to donate one million Swiss Francs for the most vulnerable families in Switzerland. Our contribution is just a start. We hope that others might join in supporting more families in need. Together we can overcome this crisis! Stay healthy!
Well played, Roger.
His world ranking is also safe for now, reports CBS Sports:
With the ATP freezing its rankings because of COVID-19, Federer will remain at No. 4 for the foreseeable future. The 38-year-old is at least five years older than everyone else in the top 15. He holds the record for most weeks atop the rankings with 310.
Federer would have missed the French Open, which was delayed from a May to September start, if it began on time, as he’s recovering from a February knee surgery.
Whenever tennis does return, here’s hoping Roger is back to full strength.
