A number of journalists and photojournalists have been issued press passes, so that they can bring you news from the outside world.
Documentary photographer, Joshua Rubin, ventured out after lockdown went into effect to capture Cape Town’s now empty streets. He posted his photos, originally commissioned by Cape Jewish Chronicle, on Facebook and Instagram.
You’ll recognise a number of usually bustling parts of the city, or streets famous for bumper to bumper traffic, deserted.
