With shows cancelled, large gatherings prohibited, and a massive chunk of the world locked down, musicians are turning their talents to online concerts.
It started with a series of videos posted on Instagram, and morphed into shows that you can stream live on YouTube.
Sir Elton John decided to do his bit to help with coronavirus relief efforts by hosting a living room concert, writes Rolling Stone.
When Elton John calls, you don’t say no, which means that you can enjoy the musical stylings of some of the biggest names in the music business.
Watch the whole concert here, and some of the highlights further down. This is a live feed, and is still live at the time of writing, so make sure that you go right back to the beginning to watch Sir Elton introducing the show:
Dave Grohl rocks out on his own:
Billie Joe Armstrong strums out an old Green Day classic:
I’m not sure a song about loneliness was the best idea, but thanks.
Billie Eilish proves that you can do an acoustic version of ‘Bad Guy’:
Incidentally, the opening bars of the song can be used to make sure that you’re washing your hands for at least 20 seconds at a time.
Obviously Mariah Carey managed to Skype in some backup singers:
If you’d like to see where Mariah is social distancing take a tour of her bizarre house on MTV Cribs.
I hope this brought a little joy into your day.
