If you like Mark Ruffalo, you’ll get the twice the Ruffalo for the price of one in the upcoming series I Know This Much Is True.
HBO has released the first trailer for the series which is based on Wally Lamb’s novel of the same name.
The story follows identical twins, both of whom are dealing with mental illness, with one suffering from paranoid schizophrenia.
This isn’t going to be a lighthearted romp, says Rolling Stone. This family saga “tells a story of betrayal, sacrifice and forgiveness set against the backdrop of 20th century America”.
Ruffalo stars alongside Melissa Leo, Rosie O’Donnell, Archie Panjabi, Imogen Poots, Juliette Lewis, Kathryn Hahn and Aisling Franciosi. All six episodes were written and directed by Derek Cianfrance, who is best known for 2010’s Blue Valentine and 2012’s The Place Beyond the Pines.

The series premieres April 27, 2020, on HBO. Let’s hope it makes its way here soon.
