I stopped watching The Walking Dead after I lost track of how many seasons there were.
Wikipedia tells me we’re on the 10th season of the show, so I think it’s safe to assume that the zombie apocalypse will never end, the characters will never be safe, and this could go on forever.
Moving on to current events, and how The Walking Dead started trending on Twitter recently.
If you were hoping for some photos of zombies, you’re going to be disappointed.
If you watched season one, you probably remember this poster:
The poster features the Jackson Street Bridge in Atlanta in the US, according to BuzzFeed.
The coronavirus pandemic has emptied the streets of a number of cities and towns, rendering them almost lifeless and a little creepy, especially when those streets are expertly captured on film.
On Friday, March 20, Afshin Shirinzadeh snapped this pic of the Jackson St. Bridge after receiving a request from his friend, photographer Lori Kristen Messenger.
Here’s that picture:
The tweet comparing the two images side by side quickly went viral, with people commenting that the comparison gave them goosebumps and that they found it ‘chilling’.
For more images of empty streets as cities go on lockdown to prevent the spread of the coronavirus, check out Italy and Wuhan.
Stay indoors.
Let’s flatten that curve.
