A lot of people, myself included, had to cancel travel plans after we entered a national state of disaster on Sunday evening.
I had been looking forward to that trip for months.
If, like me, you missed out on an opportunity to explore a little, never fear.
A number of the world’s most famous places offer virtual tours of their wonders, and I’ve collected five of them for you to explore, right now, from the comfort of your couch.
Enjoy:
Yellowstone National Park
Yellowstone National Park, located partway in Wyoming, Montana and Idaho in the US was established in 1872. The park is known for its wildlife and many geothermal features, like the one pictured above. It’s widely considered the first national park in the world.

Disney World
Disney World is currently closed to assist in preventing the spread of the coronavirus, but that doesn’t mean that you can’t still take a look around. Click on the image above, or follow this link for 360 degree panoramas and online recreations of some of the theme park’s most famous rides.
The Louvre
Take in some of the most spectacular art in the world, including some of their recent exhibitions on one of the Louvre’s virtual tours.

Monterey Bay Aquarium
The aquarium, located in Atlanta Georgia, has set up webcams so that you can visit the jellyfish, penguins and even sharks from the comfort of your living room. There’s also an aviary cam for all of the bird lovers out there. Click on the image, or go here, for peak chill and some natural beauty.
The Great Wall Of China
Take an interactive tour of the Great Wall of China, online, without breaking a sweat. Commonly considered a wonder of the world, the Great Wall boasts a history of over 2 000 years and stretches more than 3 000 miles across several provinces of northern China, making it one of the most impressive ancient structures on the planet.

I hope that helped a little with the cabin fever.
Stay safe out there.
