We live in a society where monogamy is the default setting.
As such, cheating happens, for a number of reasons, and in most cases, people can’t hide it for long.
A recent survey looked into the ways that people get caught out and found that women are more likely to confess to an affair than men.
On the flip side, men are more likely to forget to take a shower before seeing their primary partner, thus stinking up the place with someone else’s perfume.

More than half of women polled (56%) said they had made their own secret checks to uncover a partner’s affair compared to 29% of men. ‘Phones are by far the most common way for cheats of both sexes to be exposed,’ sex and relationship expert Jessica Leoni said.
