In November last year, a so-called ‘karate and wrestling coach’ from Bronkhorstspruit, Neville Randall, was accused of selling sexually suggestive photos of children online.
Some of the photos fetched as much as R1 500, and were labelled with terms like “schoolboy”, “body scissors”, “crucifix pins”, “schoolgirl pins”, “strangling” and “boy dominating girl”.
Randall claimed the sessions were innocent classes in self-defence techniques, and that the children were paid for their participation in the photo or recording sessions so that they could buy clothes, computers or bicycles.
The issue has divided the town, and parts of the country, and caught the attention of Carte Blanche, who decided to look into Randall this past Sunday.
They also managed to track Randall down at his house, and Derek Watts wasn’t afraid to ask some hard-hitting questions.
