If sand, ancient pointy burial tombs, and disrespecting the country that you’re visiting turns you on, then you’ve come to the right place.
Andreas Hvid likes all of the above and became obsessed with illegally scaling a pyramid and then having sex on it, on camera, as the sun rises (amongst other things).
People aren’t too thrilled with the Danish photographer who, as VICE puts it, “decided to add one extra bone to the giant grave that is the Great Pyramid of Giza”.
Far be it from us to deprive you of quality video content, so here they are, about to shag on a pyramid after climbing it:
Anyone disappointed by that ending can rest easy, because they followed the video up with a photo of them “making the beast with two backs”.
That eggplant is not an accurate representation of his eggplant, as far as we know.
These photos weren’t received too well by both the general public of Egypt and Egypt’s government. According to Egyptian outlet Ahram Online, Egypt’s Minister of Antiquities Khaled El-Anany has ordered prosecutors to investigate the validity of the images and look into whether Hvid and his model friend “really filmed an explicit pornographic video atop the Pyramid.”
Yeah, having sex on people’s ancestors generally doesn’t go down well.
Some people have claimed that the video and photos are fake, but Hvid claims that they’re the real deal.
It seems the photo offended people on two fronts, with some being obsessed that he trespassed on historic site like the Great Pyramids and others being incensed that he uhhh… took a picture implying he was f*cking on there. “On behalf of historians and archaeologists everywhere, I hope you both end up in jail,” reads one comment on the YouTube video.
He was definitely f***ing up there. He titled the photo ‘Pyramid F**k’.
Hvid says he didn’t expect people to be so angry, and that he “followed the explorer’s code, taking nothing but pictures and leaving nothing but footprints”.
Or, bum prints as the case may be.
He should probably avoid Egypt for the foreseeable future.
