The budget speech earlier in the week offered us some good news on the personal tax front.
For example, using Fin24’s calculator, those who pull in R280 000 a month will now pay R8 100 a year less.
OK, not quite the impact I had hoped for.
All of that aside, on Fridays we like to skim through property sites and look for wild listings, which is how we came across this rental in Bantry Bay.
Listed on Tyson Properties, the rental is going for a cool R280 000 a month, which (no offence) is probably a stretch on your budget.
Let’s take a look, anyway, as the weekend draws ever closer:
The villa itself is absolutely stunning with a super grand feel throughout the home. The house consists of 5 bedrooms all en-suite and with balcony’s with fabulous ocean views. The master bedroom is spectacular with two en-suite bathrooms both with bath and shower. All the other bedrooms are en-suite with queen size beds.
The sea view office can be converted into a huge bedroom and bathroom apartment if required.
All the bedrooms and bathrooms are equipped to a very high standard with air-conditioning, ceiling fans, heated towel rails and the latest flat screen TV’s.
The entrance leads onto an open plan dining room which seats 14, fully equipped modern kitchen and enormous lounge which leads onto the swimming pool entertainment area providing panoramic views of the ocean and city bowl.
One can easily host 150 people in the incredible garden area. This villa is an entertainments dream! Book your viewing now and start living the “HIGH LIFE”!
They put ‘high life’ in all caps, so you know it’s serious.
Also, if it hosts 150 people (a nightmare scenario), maybe you can charge for entry and put a dent in the monthly rental.
A few more snaps:
Our inside sources tell us that no zebras were harmed in the making of those sinks.
You pay good money to wake up with a view like this:
Sadly, we are unsure if the R280 000 a month includes the orange juice and bubbly below, but you are entitled to start drinking pretty early in the morning:
Must be nice.
