How do you know if someone went to the Match in Africa 6 showdown between Roger Federer and Rafa Nadal?
Easy – they tell you within a few minutes of meeting them.
I consider that fair, given that watching two of tennis’ greatest ever (and most popular) performers, as part of a world record size crowd, is a bit of a bucket list tick.
Trevor Noah was delighted to take part, but there was one little problem. That would be his complete lack of ability when it comes to playing tennis, and his desire not to make a fool of himself.
You can watch the highlights of his doubles match alongside Rafa, battling Roger and Bill Gates, here, to see how well he did. There is a great deal of heavy breathing from Trevor, so you know he gave it his all.
Now, thanks to his appearance on The Ellen Show, we also know that he trained with a pro coach in order to prepare.
Stick around for the description of how to ‘bruuuuush’ the ball.
