I would say that ‘Dave’ is a rather unusual name for a rapper to go by, but props to the British musician for his show-stopping performance at the 2020 Brit Awards last night.
The 21-year-old didn’t hold back during his performance of his song, ‘Black’, taking aim at Boris Johnson and the British media’s treatment of Meghan Markle, amongst others.

The Jack that gets the shout-out is Jack Merritt, one of the two people who died in the London Bridge attack late last year.
The night ended with Dave winning album of the year, which is the most coveted prize on offer, for his debut release, ‘Psychodrama’.
For a laugh, I popped past the Daily Mail’s story on Dave’s rap, and checked out the top-rated comments:
Brexit means Brexit!
Shame, so touched on their studios.
