Another day, another strange video emerging from the suburbs of Jozi.
Brawls aside, the video below, filmed in the streets of northern Jozi, has a lot to unpack.
For a start, the man in the video claims to be Jesus himself, and is asking for a ride to Northcliff so he “can become the king”.
Quite why Jesus would need the trappings of a vehicle to get him there is beyond me, but let’s press on.
After the woman filming refuses to give the couple a lift, the man responds by counting down from five, before continuing to stroll casually through the streets.
A warning that you’re going to see some nudity, but you’re a grown-up and you can handle it:
This one says he’s black Jesus. I think the trumpet has been blown already. 😂😂😂 pic.twitter.com/wnekv5Hzkk

Quite something, hey?
A security official in the area says that the couple was eventually taken to the Linden police station by the JMPD, but that couldn’t be confirmed.
Thankfully, it appears that relatives have made contact with the woman, reports News24:
A woman who claims to be the cousin of the woman in the video tweeted: “Please help me find the girl in this picture, she’s my cousin and she’s missing … (also whatever info you may have in this guy please send it to me ) is e really need to find her (sic).”
The same woman later tweeted: “Thank you so much for all the RT’s sand dm’s we found her at Helen Joseph hospital, she’s still very disoriented. My family and I are eternally grateful to everyone that helped in finding [name withheld]. Thank you thank you thank you very much. (sic)”
Some Twitter sleuths report that the man in the video is an actor and model, with his Instagram account also saying he is a Herbalife distributor.
That explains a lot.
Let’s just hope everyone involved gets the help that it appears they may need.
