Jislaaik, Jozi.
We are going to have to have a serious conversation about your behaviour lately.
The Greenside restaurant strip witnessed a massive brawl over the weekend, with reports of one woman waving a baseball bat around, that resulted in nine arrests.
Not to be outdone, some chap at an Andiccio24 pizzeria in Jozi became so irate in the early hours of Sunday morning that he whipped out his gun.
News24 reports that the feud began because there was no cheese on his focaccia.
That’s a grown man cocking his weapon, and firing off two shots into the air as he drove off, because of a pizza topping.
I shudder to think how he would react if he heard about Butler’s Pizza and their legendary ‘The Rotherham’. That’s feta, bacon and salami, made with a thin base, and HALF the normal amount of cheese.
Neat and tidy, but probably going to cause this bloke to suffer an aneurysm.
Here’s the footage in all its glory:

Let’s get the blow-by-blow from Andiccio24’s marketing manager, Clara Namnick:
“Our staff calmly explained that he had selected a focaccia base pizza on his order form which clearly indicated that it did not include any cheese,” Namnick told News24.
“He then became incredibly aggressive and verbally abusive towards our staff. As a result, the customers in the store came to their defence and they continued to argue with the customer directly.”
Namnick said the man then got into his car and fired two shots in the air as he drove away.
As things stand, the police are unable to confirm if any action has been taken, but there will surely be repercussions for somebody going that (em)mental.
Who does he think he is, Al Mascarpone?
Yes, I’m tired of myself, too.
Cape Town fans of pizzas that come delivered piping hot (with cheese, to avoid any gunfights) should go ahead and check out the Butler’s Pizza specials while we’re at it:
Enjoy a touch of class when your pizza arrives, via your well-dressed butler, which seems to be sorely lacking up north in the Big Smoke.
