America is run by a giant toddler, but it’s not like the Vice President, Mike Pence, is a stellar bloke, either.
He’s a notorious homophobe, a dirty little snitch, and generally just a horrible human.
Prince Charles has a few skeletons in the closet, but at least he’s not a climate change denier, having recently spoken out in support of Greta Thunberg.
All of this brings us to the handshake snub, or non-snub, that had some people bickering on the internet. That’s not unusual, because people will bicker about anything online, but let’s just start with the footage:

Snub or no snub? Perhaps that could be the title of a new gameshow, because Deal or No Deal has surely had its time in the limelight.
Anyway, that footage above is from an Auschwitz memorial event in Jerusalem, Israel, yesterday.
As it spread, and Pence was ridiculed, Katie Waldman, the Vice President’s Press Secretary, took to Twitter to rubbish those reports:
She then shared this video:

A Buckingham Palace official also responded to queries on the matter by saying that Charles and Pence had a “long and warm conversation” before the ceremony began.
Case closed.
If you’re obsessed and want a slow-motion of the encounter, this video will sort you out:
I think the part where Vladimir Putin strolls in and is warmly greeted, despite the fact that he oversees the routine murder and intimidation of journalists and citizens within in his country, is my standout moment.
A close second is everyone having a good ‘ol chinwag with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who in November of last year was indicted on charges of bribery, fraud, and breach of trust over allegations he granted state favours to Israeli media barons in return for gifts and favourable coverage.
Diplomacy – what a rush.
