Fifth time’s the charm?
Pamela Anderson has married again.
You’d be forgiven for thinking she was in a relationship with Julian Assange. She has been a very vocal supporter and friend of Assange for a number of years, visiting him at the Ecuadorian embassy in London on several occasions before he was arrested and dragged out of the building by police.
But alas, no. That romance was not meant to be. Instead she’s been dating, and is now married to, 74-year-old film producer Jon Peters.
Here’s The Daily Mail:
The 52-year-old Baywatch star said ‘I do’ to 74-year-old Hollywood mogul – best known for the films Flashdance, Batman and A Star Is Born – in a private ceremony in Malibu, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The two have a history: they dated more than 30 years ago when he met her at the Playboy mansion. The site added the pair reunited romantically only a few months ago.
Peters had some very nice and slightly weird things to say about his relationship with Anderson:
‘There are beautiful girls everywhere. I could have my pick, but – for 35 years – I’ve only wanted Pamela,’ the A Star Is Born producer told the site. ‘She makes me wild -in a good way.’
‘Pamela has never seen her full potential as an artist. She has yet to shine in a real way. There is much more to her than meets the eye, or I wouldn’t love her so much,’ Peters tells THR.
Anderson wrote a poem for Peters:
“Jon is the original ‘bad boy’ of Hollywood –
no one compares –
I love him deeply like family.
His life used to scare me.
So much for a girl like me.
Now I’ve seen more of life
and realize ..
He’s been there all along.
Never failed me –
I’m ready now
and
he’s ready too –
We
understand
and respect each other –
We love each other
without conditions. –
I’m a lucky woman. –
Proof
God has a plan”
I’d hold off on that writing career, for the time being, Pam.
Anderson also posted this cryptic message on Instagram to celebrate the nuptials:
Anderson’s ex-husbands include Tommy Lee, Kid Rock, and Rick Salomon (twice).
Congrats to the happy couple. Let’s hope it lasts.
