Stories of promising NFL players whose careers go off the rails are a dime a dozen, but the story of Aaron Hernandez is unlike any other the sport has ever seen.
Sure, O.J. Simpson is alleged to have committed a double murder (the evidence is overwhelming), but Hernandez was accused of killing three people, including his own future brother-in-law, back in 2012.
That story, and what came after that (we’re trying to avoid spoilers), has now been turned into your latest Netflix true-crime binge, a series titled Killer Inside: The Mind of Aaron Hernandez.
From a $40 million contract to a place in American sporting infamy, it’s quite a rollercoaster ride:
