The country life is fun to dabble in, but not everyone wants to live it full-time.
If you’re one of those people who wants to dabble, I have the perfect spot for you out in Franschhoek.
Seeff is advertising a small cottage on a rather large plot of land, which is available for short term winter letting later in the year. The top of the listing says that the property is available for R40 000 per month, so I’m going to assume that you can lease the property for a month at a time if you want to.
You’d have to check out the listing or contact the agents to get the full details.
In the meantime, here’s what we do know:
Surrounded by mountains and nestled amongst the vineyards, this home offers four large comfortable bedrooms, large ensuite bathrooms, a pool and a lovely stoep with jacuzzi to enjoy the breathtaking sunsets.
Mountain view tranquility, perfect to relax and enjoy all that Franschhoek has to offer.
The house, which looks like it was decorated by a Little House on the Prairie enthusiast, has both a pool and a jacuzzi, which will come in handy during those frostier winter nights.
Let’s continue our snoop:
There are many wine bottles on those shelves. I approve.
Oh, and as for your stoep…
The view is very nice, but you could also visit Franschhoek and take that in without having to drop R40 000 for it. The Anthonij Rupert Wine Estate is a perfect place to start.
Look, at the end of the day, you do you.
Wear sunscreen.
