Good for you, Gwyneth.
I only have one problem with the video you’re about to watch below, and that’s the fact that it’s an advert for Goop (styled ‘goop’, technically), which we would euphemistically refer to as pseudoscience bullshit.
The ‘lifestyle brand’ has been hauled over the coals a number of times, perhaps most famously for stating that the jade eggs sold can balance female hormones.
They can’t, and those eggs are far from the only strange product punted on the site.
Let’s move along to the advert that’s now making headlines, with this info via IOL:
The 47-year-old actress stars in the festive advertisement for her lifestyle brand’s limited-edition fashion line G. Label, and in one scene she can be seen going to place the sex toy in a stocking, before deciding to keep it for herself instead.
In the clip, the narrator explains: “Do something for others, but don’t forget about No. 1 … yes, that is a vibrator.”
I’m not sure who asked, but thanks for clearing that up.
Go for it, Gwyn:
‘Someone’s double fisting’ – good times.
If you are in the market for a new vibrator, here’s what Vogue has to say about the one featured above:
According to the Goop shop, it appears to be Smile Makers’s sleek, $89 “The Romantic,” including four speed settings, three pulsation modes, and the curved tip of a candy cane.
True to form, the sex toy section of Goop’s site also includes a $95 sex pillow to “hit the perfect angles” and Lelo’s fabled $3,490 gold dildo.
I’m sorry to report, however, that its recommended kink accessory, a $1,350 restraining arts kit, complete with leather-bound paddle and wrist and ankle cuffs, is already sold out.
Bummer.
Remember to stuff those stockings.
