As we head into a brand new decade, we have the opportunity to look back on the last 10 years and take stock.
It’s a special time, to reflect, learn from our mistakes, and make better choices moving forward.
Or we could head on over to IOL to laugh at the biggest celebrity fashion fails to walk out of the house since 2010.
It’s Friday, so let’s do the second one.
Retail outlet Love The Sales surveyed eight million British women to discover who has influenced their fashion choices over the past 10 years, and they also asked those women to pick the decade’s worst fashion choices.
First on the list, and for good reason, is this abomination.
1. Gemma Collins, 2017
This outfit was voted worst of the decade. I’ll give her this, she’s ready to tackle anything that comes her way, and those shoulder pads are going to help her do it.
2. Lady Gaga, 2010
The infamous 2010 meat dress has since been preserved and exhibited many times.
3. Miley Cyrus, 2015
They say accessories are a girl’s best friend. Miley took it too far. This is all accessory, no clothing. Even her ice cream look was better than this.
4. Kim Kardashian, 2013
Kim goes full Sound of Music with a look that could easily have been made out of the Von Trapp curtains.
5. Meghan Markle
The outfit is fine. It’s the ill-fitting shoes that were a problem.
I can think of worse fashion fails.
Have we forgotten (ALL OF) Donald Trump’s ties?
What about this “dad who didn’t want to go to the event” look from John Travolta at the Oscars in 2010?
At least he didn’t pair it with ill-fitting sneakers to really complete the look.
On a positive note, everyone is an improvement on Justin Timberlake’s fashion during his time dating Britney Spears in the early 2000s.
Perhaps we are evolving.
