Last time we checked in on Bill Cosby, he was serving time in jail for the 2004 aggravated indecent assault of Andrea Constand and comparing himself to Nelson Mandela.

Yes, our Mandela. The one who spent 27 years in prison for resisting Apartheid.

Since he was incarcerated, and with the exception of some odd statements, Cosby has kept relatively quiet, refusing to talk to the press.

Instead, when he wants to make contact with the outside world, he sends out inappropriate tweets like the one that shocked the world this past Father’s Day.

Now, he’s decided to break the ‘no press’ rule, granting Black Press USA an exclusive interview.

Rolling Stone breaks it down:

In a rare interview with Black Press USA, Cosby maintained that he did nothing wrong and said that he will not apologize for his crimes when his parole comes up, even though it could potentially lead to his early release.

“When I come up for parole, they’re not going to hear me say that I have remorse. I was there. I don’t care what group of people come along and talk about this when they weren’t there. They don’t know,” Cosby said in a series of phone calls from prison.

“It’s all a set up. That whole jury thing. They were imposters,” Cosby stated.

“Look at the woman who blew the whistle,” he said, alluding to the potential juror who overheard a seated juror proclaim before the trial that, “he’s guilty, we can all go home now.”

“Then she went in and came out smiling, it’s something attorneys will tell you is called a payoff,” Cosby stated.

“I know what they’ve done to my people. But my people are going to view me and say, ‘that boy looks good. That boy is strong.'”

He’s clearly unhinged. He’s also “a privileged man in prison” who refers to his jail cell as his “penthouse”.

We’re just glad he’s locked up, and if he keeps on talking like this, he won’t be granted parole anytime soon.
