Maybe? I don’t know. Perhaps she was born with it.

After all, Shania Twain was doing her thing when people like Tom Jones and Celine Dion were still interesting.

It was a dark time in pop music. We try not to think about it too much. I imagine that future generations will look back on Justin Bieber and Kanye West and feel the same way.

Anyway, the American Music Awards happened amidst some controversy about Taylor Swift and Scooter Braun and who owns the music.

We’re going to gloss over that and get straight to Shania.

If her 2019 American Music Awards was any indication, Shania Twain is still the one we love and dream of.

The 54-year-old singer delivered a show-stopping performance on Sunday with a medley of her greatest hits including “Any Man of Mine,” “That Don’t Impress Me Much,” and “Man! I Feel Like a Woman” as well as a series of covers of songs from artists like Drake, Taylor Swift and Post Malone.
