It was a classic ‘he said / he said / they both smelled it’ situation, complete with actual post-match interviews featuring strenuous denials of letting rip.
Now, 365 days later, we bring you #FartGate, round two, featuring US representative Eric Swalwell appearing on Hardball to talk about the ongoing impeachment hearings against President Trump.

As you can see from the above tweet, opinions are divided. Some say fart, some say phone vibrating, and the Twitter account for Hardball says it was…a mug:
