Since personal and private use of marijuana was given the green light in South Africa, we’ve seen some inventive methods for growing and capitalising on the plant.
The City of Cape Town is spending a couple of billion on a Cape marijuana production plant.
There was also a competition to grow the largest dagga plant in SA, and one guy has opened a series of stores where you can stock up on medicinal marijuana or invest and open your own dispensary.
In Italy, they have a similar setup to what we have here. Weed is decriminalised for recreational purposes, and legal for medicinal and industrial uses.
You can’t, however, grow so much of it that you need to add a wing onto your property to house it all.
Do that and the police will get involved. When they do, they’ll film it and upload it to the internet.
Here’s the Independent:
Footage posted by the Italian national police reveals a cannabis farm behind a secret shower doorway. Police seized the plantation, a gun and ammunition at the home of the discovery.
That description doesn’t do it justice. Take a look:
As fuzzy as the laws around decriminalisation are, if you need a secret door and a supply of ammo, then it’s safe to assume that you’re probably doing something illegal.
