Simone Biles will more than likely be remembered as the greatest gymnast of all time when she eventually calls it a day.
Before then, though, she will continue to push the envelope of what is considered possible, and her performance at the World Championships in Stuttgart, Germany, this past weekend was a great example of that.
During her floor exercise, she nailed a triple-double, and then on the balance beam, she nailed a double-double dismount, which means that she can eventually add two more moves to the growing list of those named after her.
This video breaks it down nicely in slow-motion:
The TRIPLE DOUBLE or now known as ‘The Biles II’.

I’m a little dizzy just watching that, and it looks even better at full speed:
This is the double-double dismount, which she first nailed in a competition back in August.

Here’s more from CNN:
She is trying to become the most decorated gymnast in world championships history. Vitaly Scherbo, who competed for Belarus, the Soviet Union and the Commonwealth of Independent States, was awarded 23 medals in his career.
Her next medal at the world championships will give her one more than Svetlana Khorkina of Russia, who had 20 in her career, for most podium finishes among women at the event.
To have a move named after a gymnast, the competitor must successfully do the element in the world championships or at the Olympics.
Biles had already performed the skills at the US championships in August.
Well, given that she just nailed both at the world champs, that’s two more moves in the bag for Simone.
