If you’re going to crash a runway at Paris Fashion Week, you’d better hope Gigi Hadid isn’t in the room.
Forget security. As far as Hadid is concerned, nobody f**** with Chanel.
This became apparent at the launch of Chanel’s ready to wear collection at their spring 2020 showcase, attended by big names in fashion like Anna Wintour.
According to The Independent, things got a little out of hand when a French comedian and YouTuber decided to crash the runway.
With no security guards in sight, model Gigi Hadid took matters into her own hands and walked the intruder off stage as she attempted to insert herself among the lineup of models meandering across the catwalk.
Dressed in a Chanel-inspired look, the crasher has been reportedly identified as Marie Benoliel, a comedian and YouTube personality with 195,000 followers on Instagram.
The stunt clearly worked, because at the time of writing she is up to 214 ooo followers on Instagram.
As for Hadid, Chanel should consider putting her on the payroll as a bouncer. Check it out:

And from a different angle:
I wonder is she does parties?
Security guards eventually took over from model-turned-bouncer Hadid, escorting the YouTuber from the runway after she had almost completed a full circuit
Not a good look for Fashion Week security, but a decent day out for Marie Benoliel.
If you didn’t know her before, she’s hard to forget now.
