There is so much about this video that is quintessentially American.
Before we get to that, let’s start with the basics.
On Monday, at Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport, a catering cart careened out of control and looked to set to collide with a plane that was on the tarmac nearby.
Nobody seemed quite sure how to tackle the problem, until one hero, sans cape, took decisive action.
Rather than spoil the ending, let’s get straight into the action:
It’s the clapping at the end, combined with “That’s how you do it”, that makes this so American.
Same thing when a plane touches down safely. I wonder if they clap their Uber drivers when they arrive at their destination?
This info via PEOPLE:
Dr. Kevin Klauer was the passenger who caught the whole thing on video…
“At first, it was humorous to see this drive itself and not fall over, but then as it picked up speed it presented danger to people,” the osteopathic physician, who was traveling to Tennessee, said.
“Everyone was actually really quietly watching this unfold. When it ended, the whole gatehouse erupted in applause,” he added to the outlet.
Yeah, we noticed.
So what does this have to do with US politics? Well, the second video below might make things clearer:

Accurate.
Sadly, to be fully reflective of US politics, millions of people would now have to shout ‘FAKE NEWS’, disputing the evidence that is so obvious to the rest of the world.
