Donald Trump is sweating.

Not in the ‘he’s sweating because he’s an unhealthy mess’ kind of way, but rather in the ‘impeachment inquiry’ kind of way, and yesterday wouldn’t have helped his cause.

In an effort to quell the Democrats pushing for impeachment, the White House released a memo detailing the controversial call between Trump and Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky.

Quite how the White House thought the memo would dampen the calls for the ousting of Trump is beyond Trevor Noah (and most others who aren’t part of Cult 45), who was following on from his segment yesterday on impeachment procedures.

What kind of an idiot would see the memo as exculpatory evidence? Well, I think you know where this is going.

Also, a reminder that the White House accidentally emailed the Republican talking points, which were to be used to undermine criticism of Trump, to Democratic politicians.

They then mailed minutes later and asked them to delete the previous email. You can’t make it up.
