I’m going to rip the Band-Aid off nice and early here.
The Ndlovu Youth Choir didn’t win America’s Got Talent, but that didn’t stop them from giving an incredible final performance.
Before we watch that, take a minute to watch them shine in their performances throughout the competition here.
Over to Channel24 for more on the AGM final:
For their final performance on the show, the choir who hails from Limpopo gave a moving tribute to Africa on Wednesday.
However, it wasn’t enough to secure the public vote. In the live finale on Thursday aired in the US they were eliminated ahead of the top five acts announcement.
The choir had a rollercoaster ride on the reality competition with the judges vote often saving them from elimination.
Despite this, the choir was in fine spirits:
Our @AGT journey may have come to an end but this is only the beginning. We are so excited for what lies ahead and we look forward to continuing sharing love, unity and above all hope. ❤️ #agt pic.twitter.com/EDTtYh8Sfr

They opened the awards show on Thursday morning with a repeat performance of Whitney Houston’s Higher Love, this time with Kygo, Macklemore and the Detroit Youth Choir:
The winner of the competition, $1 million, and a show on the Vegas strip was Kodi Lee, who received Gabrielle Union’s first golden buzzer.
Here he is performing at the final show with Leona Lewis:
Well done, Ndlovu Youth Choir, you were up against some pretty stiff competition and you did us proud.
I’m sure you have some great things ahead of you.
