Feel it – it is almost here.
Tomorrow, just after midday South African time (12:45PM), the 2019 Rugby World Cup kicks off.
That opening match sees hosts Japan take on Russia in a rather underwhelming match, but it’s Saturday that has Springbok fans most excited.
Yes, Australia tackle Fiji at 6:45AM, and France versus Argentina at 9:15AM might be tight, but it’s the Springboks taking on the All Blacks, which starts at 11:45AM, that is the day’s real humdinger.
If you’re looking for somewhere with a vibe, where you can shout and scream without the neighbours judging, Café Caprice is running some great specials.
Camps Bay’s premier location is encouraging peeps to join them for a beachfront vibe while watching all the Rugby World Cup games live on their HD big screens, as well as make the most of the Rugby Brunch and Beer Special.
R90 gets you one of four brunch options served with a beer. Those dishes include a breakfast burger, bacon benedict, Madame Caprice (signature full brekkie), and French toast.
The beer special is on Coronitas, with five going for R100.
We won’t mention any names, but rumour has it you may rub shoulders with a few former national sports stars while you’re there.
The special will run for the entire duration of the Rugby World Cup (September 20 through to November 2). You will need to book, especially for the big matches, so send them a message on Facebook or call 021 438 8315.
