Halloween happens to be next month, and so does the most recent attempt by Stephen King, and the filmmakers who adapt his work, to ruin your childhood.
First, it was red balloons. Thanks to It and It: Two, there’ll be no enjoying a balloon ever again.
Now he’s coming for grass.
Based on Stephen King and son Joe Hill’s novella of the same name, In the Tall Grass makes foliage terrifying.
Show it to your kids if you want them to keep off your lawn.
Here’s Mashable:
In the Tall Grass follows Becky (Laysla De Oliveira) and Cal (Patrick Wilson), siblings on a road trip who are lured into a foreboding field by the cries of a young boy. Disoriented by the surrounding foliage and hidden horrors within, the two soon find themselves unable to escape a mysterious world they never meant to find.
Written and directed by Vincenzo Natali, the terrifying project is primed to be the first big scare of October. So strap in, buckle up, and — wait, do you feel a kind of scratching at the back of your knees?
Watch and enjoy at your own risk:
The film will begin streaming on October 4.
