The royal family really are just like us.
They’re born in the usual way (we know this to be true because the newest royal baby looks like a regular baby) and they then celebrate the day that they were born at the same time every year.
The similarities are astounding.
To add to the list of ways that they’re regular people, Meghan even wished Harry a happy birthday on social media yesterday (September 15).
We can’t confirm that she only remembered that it was his birthday because of social media, but that’s probably for the best. We don’t want them to appear too normal.
Marie Claire has more on this revolutionary approach to royal birthdays:
Prince Harry is celebrating his 35th birthday. As is customary in 2019, the occasion was marked with a special birthday Instagram on the official Sussex Royal Instagram account.
The post included a collage of nine photos showing off just a few of the highlights of Harry’s life, including childhood photos with his late mother, Princess Diana, a photo from his wedding to Meghan Markle, and a previously unreleased photo of his growing family at Archie Harrison’s christening earlier this year.
“Wishing a very happy birthday to His Royal Highness Prince Harry, The Duke of Sussex!” Sussex Royal wrote with the post.
Meghan also included a personal message in the caption:
“Your service to the causes you care so deeply for inspires me every day. You are the best husband and most amazing dad to our son. We love you ❤️Happiest birthday!”
It has a ‘heart’ emoji and everything so you know she loves him and is also down with internet-speak.
Meghan and Harry’s Instagram account has been a source of endless fascination for the general public since they launched it earlier this year.
And that’s it.
That’s the whole story.
Happy birthday, Harry.
