Just over a year ago, all we read about in the tabloids and entertainment magazines was Brad and Angelina’s divorce.
The proceedings dragged on so much that we started to believe that the divorce would continue long after global warming took out life on earth.
In the middle of all of it, was the small village of children that the couple has adopted over the years.
Angie was claiming that Brad wasn’t contributing as much to their upkeep as he should be.
Turns out that’s not the only problem Brad has with his kids, and with his son, Maddox, in particular.
Back to the tabloids for more on their relationship. Take it away, Daily Mail:
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s son Maddox gave a small insight into his fraught relationship with his father this week.
The 18-year-old student gave a brief mention to his dad when asked about the actor during a rare interview outside of his college, Yonsei University in Incheon, South Korea, which was obtained by In Touch.
Maddox and Brad have been almost entirely estranged since a 2016 incident where the thespian and son allegedly had a serious altercation while aboard a private plane.
Who hasn’t had a fight with their dad on a private plane? So relatable.
The incident reportedly lead Angelina to file for divorce after just two years of marriage.
Maddox, the eldest of Jolie’s six children, opened up after asked whether his dad would be visiting him at university.
He deflected, saying: ‘I don’t know about that [or] what’s happening.’
Then asked whether or not his relationship with Pitt is ‘over’, the biochemistry student shrugged and told the reporter ‘Well, whatever happens, happens.’
Yeah, he really opened up.
Maddox has been studying at the university since August last year, with reports saying that he has had no contact with his dad during that time.
If you care, now you know.
