Everybody knows Steve Jobs’ name, but you shouldn’t forget Steve Wozniak.
He was there right from the beginning, although his net worth of around $100 million is far less than that of Steve Jobs at the time of his death.
Like most of us with a smartphone, Wozniak is wary of spending a little too much time on the device.
That’s just part of why he loves his Apple Watch, reports Business Insider:
“It’s about my favorite piece of technology in the world right now,” Wozniak recently said…
Wozniak says he typically uses his computer when he’s checking email or keeping up with the news and uses the watch when he’s on the go. “And then I move to the watch and pretty much skip the phone,” he said. “I’m not one of these people that wants to be like an addict.”
I see he hasn’t gone the Seth route just yet, and abandoned the laptop for the iPad Pro, but we could probably all use a little less time with our smartphones.
Wozniak was also full of praise for the Apple Card, and he’s not alone in feeling like the Apple Watch is changing the game:
The Apple Watch has slowly become an increasingly important product for Apple in recent years. Sales of products in Apple’s wearables, home, and accessories division, which includes the Apple Watch, have surpassed that of the iPad and are closing in on the Mac, according to the company’s most recent earnings report…
Apple is also launching a new software update for the Apple Watch this fall, which will bring the ability to track activity trends over time and a standalone App Store to the watch. Apple could also launch a new Apple Watch model this fall…
When you consider all the tech power packed into an Apple Watch, it’s no wonder the product is doing so well.
Hopefully, we will know soon enough about whether or not there’s a new model. When we do, keep an eye on Digicape, where you can trade your old iPads, iPhones, MacBooks and Apple Watches for discounts on new products.
