It’s getting harder and harder for Prince Andrew to dismiss his relationship with Jeffrey Epstein, and the latest development will cause much consternation in Buckingham Palace.
With footage showing Prince Andrew saying farewell to what looked like underage girls at Epstein’s New York apartment in 2010, two years after Epstein was convicted of having sex with a child, he was already facing intense scrutiny.
Now the flight logs for Epstein’s luxury black Gulfstream jet have emerged, including entries for March and April 2001, which show that Epstein was flying Virginia Roberts Giuffre around the world at the time.
You may recall that Roberts Giuffre has alleged that she was forced to have sex with Prince Andrew on three occasions – in London, New York and on a private Caribbean island owned by Epstein – between 1999 and 2002, when she was underage.
Here’s the Daily Beast with what those flight logs tell us:
Cross-referencing the flight details with official announcements made by the royal family and press reports from the time reveals a number of coincidences.
Giuffre, then known by her maiden name Virginia Roberts, arrived at London Luton airport on March 9 along with Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell. Hours later, a photograph of Andrew with his arm around Giuffre’s waist was taken in Maxwell’s flat.
A month later, on April 9, the duke began an official visit to the U.S. in his capacity as chairman of the trustees of the Outward Bound Trust.
The Court Circular, the official record of royal movements, recorded his presence in New York that day…that the very same day, Giuffre also flew to New York. She and Epstein left his Palm Beach home to arrive in New York via Atlantic City.
Giuffre has previously claimed that it was around Easter time in 2001 that her second encounter with Andrew took place.
Easter fell the following Sunday, on April 15.
When describing that particular incident, Giuffre alleges that she was told to take Andrew for a massage, which she understood as sex, and the two did just that.
Giuffre’s allegations of sex with the prince on Epstein’s Caribbean island coincide quite closely with Andrew’s movements, too. On April 15, Andrew was in the Bahamas, which is a two-hour flight from the island in St. Thomas (pictured below), and Giuffre has always maintained that Andrew visited for just one night:
She said she flew to the island with Epstein and Maxwell and that “seven Russian girls who didn’t speak a word of English” arrived with a modelling agent. The girls were told to pose topless in provocative positions for photographs, “then we were told to assemble in a big cabana… When I walked in, Andrew and Jeffrey were seated in chairs. Jeffrey directed us with hand gestures to start undressing and then we were instructed to start kissing and touching each other.
“Jeffrey and the prince were laughing and then I stripped and I performed a sex act on Andrew. There was a dinner the next day and then Andrew was gone.”
According to court papers seen by various media outlets, pilot David Rodgers, said that one trip saw Epstein, Andrew and the then 17-year-old Giuffre travel to St. Thomas.
Looks like he has some more explaining to do.
Given the amount of criticism heaped on Harry and Meghan every time they set foot in public, the British tabloids should be ready to press Andrew for answers.
In the wake of the video of Andrew at Epstein’s home in 2010, Buckingham Palace was quick to release a statement saying that he “has been appalled by the recent reports of Jeffrey Epstein’s alleged crimes [and] deplores the exploitation of any human being”.
Sure, but why were you hanging out with a man who had just served an 18-month prison sentence for soliciting a minor for prostitution and sex with an underage girl?
Also, more lies:
The images of Andrew inside Epstein’s house directly contradicted a statement made to The Daily Beast by the palace that Andrew had not stayed at any of Epstein’s homes since the pictures in Central Park were taken.
Sometimes, when everything lines up and points to an obvious conclusion, there’s your answer.
That video of Andrew in Epstein’s New York home has also caused strife for Katherine Keating, the daughter of former Australian prime minister Paul Keating, who can be seen waving goodbye to the prince as he pees through the door.
Below from the Telegraph:
Hundreds of people connected to Epstein, and his friend Ghislaine Maxwell, through the New York social scene, are now facing questions over why they did not raise the alarm about the paedophile…
The video footage showed a young blonde woman leaving Epstein’s mansion with him. She shivered in the cold, before going back inside. Later, Ms Keating could be seen departing as the Duke peered from behind the front door…
Ms Keating is understood to be staying with her younger sister, Alexandra, in a secluded home in the Hollywood Hills in Los Angeles.
She has spent almost a decade in the US, in November taking up an executive role at Madonna’s record label, Maverick.
In the past she had been photographed with the Duke’s daughter Eugenie, and with Miss Maxwell.
She isn’t accused of any wrongdoing, but you really don’t want to be drawn into this mess.
Epstein may have died by suicide, but Prince Andrew is still around and he must be put through the wringer.
