Keen for a mid-winter getaway, for four people, worth a cool R5 500?
Of course you are, and getaways don’t come much better than Cabine du Cap. We will get to the details soon, but let’s start with the basics.
I really shouldn’t have to explain what makes this Karoo retreat so special, but I’ll do it anyway.
This info below comes from the Cabine du Cap website:
Cabine du Cap is a luxury, fully-serviced luxury retreat on 175 hectares of private land in the Klein Karoo, just outside Montagu, off the famous R62 (just 2,5 hours from Cape Town), accessible by normal car.
Away from the sights and sounds of other people (besides our staff who ensure you’re comfortable at all times), the only interruptions you might have will be the wildlife playing on the surrounding plains, valleys and peaks.
What that write-up doesn’t tell you is that you will leave the cabin a better person, inside and out, and your Instagram post about the experience will rack up the likes.
Hey, there’s no harm in a little showing off.
I did a quick search on #cabineducap and these were the top posts:
Nothing quite like letting everyone else know that you’re living in the lap of luxury.
Shall we enjoy a few more pictures? Yes, let’s do that.
Naturally, there’s a bed fit for royalty:
Sorry, that gorgeous chocolate Labrador is not included, but you’re welcome to bring your own dogs along.
Yes, it’s pet-friendly.
Oh, where’s the pool? You know where it is…
I know it’s winter, but a quick morning splash to clear out the cobwebs from a wine-filled night around the fire goes a long way.
So does the free breakfast, cooked for you, as you take in the serenity. Ahhhh, the serenity.
Time for the details of the competition…
Look at that – you’re in the running for a night at the Karoo’s most exclusive retreat. Again, you will find all of the deets on how to enter HERE.
The winner will be contacted on Wednesday, August 7, via Instagram.
One more time, so that there is no confusion – the one-night stay is August 12, not a date of your choosing.
For those who don’t land the golden ticket, you can see a full list of Cabine du Cap’s availability on the up-to-date calendar.
As things stand, August 13 is still open, so the winner could always nip in there and book an extra day.
Good luck!
