Finally, The Trailer For ‘Zombieland: Double Tap’ Has Landed [Video]

In 2009, 'Zombieland' came out, and it was a box office success. Fans have had to wait a full decade for the sequel, but at least the first trailer is here.

In 2009, Zombieland came out, and to this day it holds up as a solid piece of movie-making.

A cast that included Jesse Eisenberg, Emma Stone, Abigail Breslin and Woody Harrelson (he of Wimbledon drunk fame) did a fine script justice, and it never hurts when Bill Murray adds some of his unique spice to the mix.

Fans have been waiting a long, long time for a sequel, and now we can finally get a look at what Zombieland: Double Tap has in store for us.

Slate with the details below:

Since we last saw Columbus, Tallahassee, Wichita, and Little Rock, the team has taken up residence in an abandoned, post-apocalyptic version of the White House and is living a fairly happy life as one big dysfunctional family. That is, until Little Rock (Breslin) runs off with a boy from Berkeley and the rest of the gang hits the road to find them…

From the looks of the trailer, Zombieland: Double Tap is definitely out to up the ante: Expect more violence, more zingers, more survivors, more cameos, and way more machine-gun toting from now-Oscar winner Emma Stone.

Yes, yes, but are they bringing back Bill Murray?

That remains unanswered, but here’s the official trailer:

Yeah, I prefer that post-apocalyptic version of the White House to the real one.

The movie drops on October 18.
