If you like the idea of living in a megamansion, but have commitment issues, there’s a property for you in the US.
A Los Angeles megamansion is available to rent in Bel Air.
It’s also the most expensive rental in the US at $1,5 million (roughly R22 million) a month, with a security deposit of $3 million.
Keep in mind that this 34 000-square-foot house was on sale not too long ago for $180 million.
I feel like if you can afford to drop R22 million a month on rent, you can afford to buy the damn house.
Over to Business Insider:
The 34,000-square-foot house comes with a 90-foot infinity pool, an attached guest house, and a wellness area with a treatment room in case the renter wants to have medical procedures done at home.
That’s so convenient. I hate having to mingle with the riff raff at the high-end plastic surgeon’s office.
The mansion sits at 908 Bel Air Road in the ritzy Bel Air neighborhood, right down the street from the most expensive home for sale in the US, the $245 million Chartwell Estate.
At $1.5 million per month, 908 Bel Air Road is the most expensive lease in the United States, if not the world, according to Compass.
The home’s 90-foot infinity pool offers views that span the mountains of the Angeles forest to Catalina Island.
The nine-bedroom mansion has 20 bathrooms and a wellness area.
Hold up – 20 bathrooms? That’s more than two bathrooms per bedroom.
Also, there’s a wine cellar, and the wellness facilities include a sauna, steam room, and hot tub.
Although it’s not listed for sale, the owner will consider selling if the right buyer comes along.
If megamansions with abundant bathrooms aren’t your thing, you could always downscale to a micro mansion.
They’re a thing now in South Africa.
