Donald Trump must be over-the-moon that he can focus his full attention on serious matters like the design of Air Force One.
We all know how limited that attention span is.
And so we kick off with a quick history lesson – that of Air Force One’s historical design.
This is what she looked like back in 1962. Positively horrendous.
JFK also didn’t dig it and he got a famous industrial designer, Raymond Loewy, to assist with a new design.
This was the result.
Apparently the blue was chosen by Jackie Kennedy and ever since it’s been called ‘Jackie Kennedy blue‘.
Stunning.
You can see the same blue on today’s Air Force One.
I quite like it.
But that’s all set to change, as President Donald J Trump has actioned a new design, which is pretty much the mirror image of his own plane’s design.
Here he is, delivering the important news:
EXCLUSIVE: Pres. Trump unveils his new patriotic paint job for Air Force One during one-on-one with @ABC News’ @GStephanopoulos. https://t.co/Oiq3NoMvPO pic.twitter.com/QVvXElQ4dM

If we slow that down and get a screengrab of the plane, you can contemplate the design.
Now let’s look at Trump’s own plane:
Coincidence?
Even though he will never fly in the new design, I’m sure it will give him something of a thrill when he sees future presidents flying around.
Oh, also, never forget the time Trump made his plane do a fly-by to the music from the Film Air Force One, starring Harrison Ford.
