That beautiful creation above is a classic G&T with cucumber.
While it might look commonplace to gin drinkers, it had to come a long way before it settled as the classy drink-of-choice that we know today.
Over the last few years, gin has seen a major resurgence in popularity, reports Forbes.
This has a lot to do with its health benefits and, quite frankly, the general deliciousness of the drink, which is why it is only fitting that people across the globe celebrated World Gin Day this past Saturday (June 8).
If like me, you somehow missed the celebrations, there really is no reason not to make every day Gin Day. To help you on your way, we’re going to share five very tasty gin recipes.

We back you.
Heaven

Feeling Blue

There you go – five very simple gin recipes to impress your friends with when you host that classy AF dinner party.
Naturally, the quality of the cocktail depends on the quality of the gin, and you can’t go wrong with Cape Town Classic Gin.
For those of you who don’t want the admin of measuring and mixing up a cocktail, Cape Town Gin also offer the light, floral rosewater infused Cape Town Pink Lady.
For a bit of local flavour, you can also sip on their Rooibos Red gin, with a slice of ginger and lemon for that added kick.
Like I said, with local gins as fine as these, there’s really no reason not to make everyday Gin Day.
