Thankfully, today is the third and final day of Donald Trump’s official state visit to the UK.
We’re tired of reading about it, talking about it, and writing about it, but the reality TV show goes on, and so must we.
Yesterday, we covered how the British protesters have really stepped things up a notch, although we didn’t include the teenager who mowed a giant penis into his lawn to welcome the American president.
As is to be expected, Trevor Noah has also been covering Trump’s visit. If you want to take in his report on day one, see here, but it’s his day two coverage that we’ll focus on.
Spoiler alert – Donnie has no idea what he’s talking about.
It’s mind-numbing stuff.
Oh, he also just tweeted this out at 8AM our side:
World’s most fragile ego, exhibit 25 000.
By the way, part of Trump’s purpose for the visit is to take part in the 75th anniversary of D-Day in June 1944, with some of the events happening today.
To prepare for a day spent honouring those who gave their lives in service of their country, he attacked Bette Midler:
That was sent at 1:30AM in London, the night before he will meet WWII veterans along with the Queen and Prince Phillip.
Be best, Donald.
Bette took the bait:
Sorry, Ireland, but he’s headed your way next.
The battle, and the reality TV show that is world politics, rages on.
