Every community Facebook group eventually involves an argument over our reluctance to pick up after our pets.
It’s not that hard – take a plastic bag, pick up the offending turd(s), and then wrap the bag up and pop it in the bin.
Enter this chap, pinged by some CCTV footage that was captured at around 7PM on the evening of May 31, in Alpina Road, Claremont. He has been dubbed the “Lynfrae Poop Slinger”, according to the post on a Lynfrae community Facebook group.
It’s a closed group, but one intrepid member filmed the video on their phone and sent it our way.
Here’s the rest of the text from the post, with the footage seemingly uploaded by someone on the receiving end of the flung turd:
Here is an edited version of the Lynfrae poop slinger (accompanied by 2 Rhodesian ridgebacks)…Please let me know if you know him so we can return his lost goods.
Let’s see that CCTV footage, then:
Decent technique, but a rookie error in not seeing the cameras present.
We are reminded once again of the Clifton Pooper fiasco from back in 2016.
By the way, if you’re wondering why the man’s face has been blurred out, it was at the request of the group’s admin:
Given that the man in question has already picked up the turd, which is the hard bit, you have to wonder if there’s some backstory to this.
Thankfully, our sleuth managed to capture some screenshots from the ensuing discussion:
OK, so they don’t know each other. The plot thickens.
They’re honing in on the chap!
I believe the Lynfrae Poop Slinger mystery may have been solved.
Let this be a lesson to us all – pick up after your pets, and have the decency to toss it in the bin afterwards.
