Nothing will make your ears bleed more than listening to people from elsewhere trying their hand at a South African accent.
Leonardo DiCaprio in Blood Diamond comes to mind.
So while I love David Tennant – mostly because he was one of the best Doctors on Doctor Who – I’m having a hard time forgiving him and co-guest Elizabeth Banks for what they did on The Late Late Show with James Corden.
The South African notes that, at the very least, Tennant admits his shortcomings:
When Corden asks Tennant about filming a project called Good Omens in Cape Town, South Africa, and whether he was able to grasp the SA accent, Tennant agrees that he cannot grasp the accent fully.

Ugh, make it stop.
This isn’t the first time that Tennant has been asked about the SA accent. Back in 2016, during a Room 101: Series Preview on BBC One, Tennant said this:
Stick to what you know, David.
James, ‘Carpool Karaoke’ remains your calling.
