When a friend of the 2oceansvibe family needs a hand, we try and help where we can.
In the case of 13-year-old Kira Godfrey, from Paarl, her friends and family are asking for financial assistance.
Kira suffers from scoliosis, or curvature of the spine, and underwent a costly operation last week, on May 6.

Kira has been very strong minded along this journey and today was no different. Although she was in extreme pain, Kira sat up and got out of bed for her first attempt at walking. She felt very light headed and as though she was going to faint, they took a short breather but continued to push through it and get her mobile…

Yesterday, Kira was able to leave the hospital, but she still faces a long, and costly, road to recovery.
