You can relax – there are no spoilers to be had here.
This weekend, Liverpool fans experienced a wild rollercoaster of emotions, with their title challenge still alive and kicking thanks to a late winner against Newcastle United on Saturday night.
A Manchester City win tonight against Leicester City would see them take a one-point lead into the final round of fixtures, to be played this Sunday (May 12), and we look all set for the tightest Premier League finish in recent years.
Whilst the action on the field at St. James’ Park was end to end, the opening salvo from NBC Sports commentator Arlo White has also grabbed headlines.
He’s commentating for an American channel, to be clear, because I’m not sure the Brits would put up with this kind of crossover.
Clearly, Arlo has a soft spot for Game of Thrones:

Listen here, Agent Bobby – it’s decent, but it’s no ‘a goal for South Africa, a goal for all Africa‘.
As a Toon fan, I have to contest the Fabinho free kick that led to Liverpool’s late winner:

Plenty of anger from Manchester City fans too, of course.
Still, some decisions go your way and some don’t, and there’s no denying that Liverpool, with 94 points and a game to go, would be worthy winners of this year’s title.
Just the small matter of Pep and his City team standing in their way.
