Since rising to fame in 2006, Adele has been rolling in more than just the deep.

Her current net worth is an estimated $180 million, so it’s been a profitable 13 or so years.

Her pending divorce could change all that, though, with her husband, Simon Konecki, set to get half of her fortune in the divorce settlement.

The couple didn’t sign a prenup when they married in 2016.

That could mean that Simon could be on the receiving end of a whopping $90 million.

However, there are a few factors that may mean that he gets a smaller windfall.

One, UK courts are not immune to nuance. They are not forced to divide things 50/50 and may distribute differently according to fairness.

Two, by all accounts, the split between Adele and Simon has been largely amicable.

Either way, this doesn’t even come close to the top five biggest divorce settlements of all time.

According to Radar, Adele celebrated their split in style with Jennifer Lawrence.

A source said: “Jennifer was one of the first she told. The pair later arranged a double celebration — Adele to raise a glass to her future, and Jennifer to celebrate her engagement to Cooke Maroney.

“The girls have the same dark sense of humor that made them think it was funny. It was a brilliant night.”
