It turns out Mick Jagger isn’t the only musician linked to bad luck.
For the uninformed, his match jinxing skills started back in 2010, right here in South Africa.
But today isn’t about Mick, it’s about Drake.
He’s an interesting character, not least because of his romantic journey in life. That, and his complicated history with Rihanna. Although I think she prefers things casual – like her vibe with Leonardo (you know he’s the best she’s ever had, right?). Sorry, back to Drake. Or ‘Drizzy’ as I like to call him.
Seems our boy might have some voodoo blood in him, as his bad luck skills have resulted in Roma Football players being banned from taking pictures with him.
All Roma players banned from taking photos with Drake until the end of the season

Football fans will know Roma is currently in the clear this season, so this is clearly a pre-emptive thing. With good reason. Drake’s sports jinxing curse is well documented. The BBC’s ‘Drake’s Sports Curse‘ article details numerous occasions that Drake has been a bad omen for sports teams and individuals.
Most recently his focus seems to be football, as Roma has noted.
The following four sports disasters happened after a player in the losing side came into contact with Drake.
EXHIBIT A) Sergio Aguero missed a penalty in the Champions League as Man City lost 1-0 to Tottenham earlier this month, not long after he’d been photographed with Drake at a show.

EXHIBIT B) Paul Pogba saw Drake perform at the Manchester Arena and got a picture taken with him – not long before Manchester United lost 2-1 to Wolves in the FA Cup.

EXHIBIT C) It was a similar story for Arsenal’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who was at one of Drake’s seven shows at the O2 in London.

EXHIBIT D has no image, but Jadon Sancho was hanging out with Drizzy before Borussia Dortmund lost 5-0 to Bayern Munich. Ouch.
And that’s just football.

I wonder how much of a ‘joke’ Roma’s tweet was?
