It’s not often that a plot in Clifton goes up for auction, let alone an elevated plot in a prime location.
We won’t be the only ones keeping an eye on the ‘4 Apostle Steps Way’ plot, which will go under the hammer on April 10 through online property auction site BidX1.
One of the last remaining plots in the area, the BidX1 site lists the guide price as between R10 million and R20 million, so it’s expected to sell for plenty.
Here’s a little more via BusinessTech:
“With sweeping views across Clifton and the ocean, this prime elevated 455sqm site includes architecturally designed plans available for the successful, registered bidder,” said MC duToit, CEO, auctions & sales for BidX1.
…according to the Africa Wealth Report for 2018, published by AfrAsia Bank and New World Wealth, property prices per square metre for Bantry Bay and Clifton is the most expensive in South Africa, at around R86,500, while Nettleton Road remains the poshest address in the country.
If the plot goes for R15 million, which is mid-range on the listed guide price, those “sweeping views” better be quite something.
Check it:
Not terrible.
As for those architecturally designed plans:
Well, the sun loungers are a nice touch. I might save my hypothetical R15 million for something with an existing house.
Bidding on the plot begins at 9AM on April 10, and will shut shortly before 1PM on the same day.
