A video has been doing the rounds on social media, and in the news, in which an evangelical minister supposedly resurrects a dead man.
The only thing worth saying about Pastor Alph Lukau, the leader of Alleluia Ministries, is that he’s a scam artist with zero human decency, who preys on the beliefs and hopes of vulnerable people – not unlike psychics.
Here’s the video with something to keep in mind while you watch it – a funeral home would never leave the eyes and mouth of a corpse open, especially for an open coffin funeral.
I just want you to fully understand how stupid this pastor is:
According to TimesLIVE, several funeral parlours have distanced themselves from the incident, claiming that they had no knowledge of the body.
After his foray into the afterlife, the former-corpse was also seen to be super hungry:

Also – scroll back up to the featured image right at the top of the page. There’s a random white dude looking confused in the corner of the shot.
Turns out he’s a friend of the pastor:
He did not question anything!!! He was part of the crew!!! Surely he was the director of that movie. pic.twitter.com/bGn8p3pLs9

As for the general public, for the most part, the video is getting the response it deserves. That’s absolute ridicule, which has now spawned the #resurrectionchallenge.
(As an aside – we really need to stop using the word “challenge” in this context. A “challenge” implies that some actual skill or effort goes into something.)
Back to the current “challenge”, and some of the best efforts thus far:

If you enjoy watching people “challenge” themselves (sarcasm intended), you can check out more challenges that went viral, here, here and here.
