Donnie and journalists who don’t work for Fox News are always going to clash, because part of a journalist’s job is to hold politicians accountable.
Over the weekend, America’s news coverage was dominated by Trump declaring a national emergency, circumventing Congress to secure the funding for his border wall.
Funny how after doing, he jetted off to one of his golf courses the very next day. Perhaps the real national emergency is this outfit, which he was snapped in whilst asking for seconds at the omelette table:
Looks like someone left the spray-tan can at home.
Before he jetted off, though, Trump was forced to field questions from journalists on Friday, which included his old foe, CNN’s Jim Acosta.
In case you don’t remember, Donald lost it with Jim back in November of last year, and the petulant showdown went viral.
Sarah Sanders then tweeted out a doctored video version of the incident in order to make it look like Acosta had become physical with a White House intern.
Acosta and Trump haven’t squared off in a while, so this one was always going to be tense, but it’s actually another CNN reporter, Brian Karem, who gets told to sit down like a dog.
The ‘sit down’ jibes come at the 2:20 mark:
He gets his numbers from ‘a lot of sources’, although numerous White House insiders have detailed how he can’t even feign interest during intelligence briefings.
Methinks those sources are Fox News.
Before we go, let’s enjoy the deafening silence that greeted Mike Pence when he passed on Donald Trump’s greetings at the Munich Security Conference over the weekend:
